Vintage cabinet card photo showing a darling girl with high top shoes and posed with the photographer rope swing prop and hay. Bottom of picture is stamped Cabinet Simon "S" Portrait New Orleans and back side of photograph has Simon 21 Hospital St. New Orleans

the obvious leader of the "gang" is toting what I believe is a Colt Model 1877 "Lightning" revolver. (I base this on the outline of the pistol, the shape of the front sight, and the position of the ejector - note that because this is a tintype, the image is reversed!) The other ruffian seated in the front is holding some type of derringer, while the taller standing gent is holding an unknown type of revolver, the barrel of which is obscured by the image loss area seen in my scan. Maybe a British "Bulldog"-type revolver? Lastly, the fourth cowpoke has his pocketknife open and ready, while brandishing a whiskey bottle in the other hand. Great hats, too!

One (1) oversized trading card (measuring approximately 3 1/4" x 5 1/2") from the rare ROCK AND ROLL STARS series of cards. Issued back in the late 1950s, these cards were originally sold 3-to-a-pack (5 cents per pack!) and featured black & white pix of the top recording stars of the day. Each card featured a brief bio of the artist at bottom and were individually numbered. There were 64 total in the set. Card here is #28 (JONI JAMES)
